Though we already have the inheritance tax in Germany and the discussion is about increasing this tax. Therefore, we don't think it is realistic to abolish it. We understand your point of view and agree in common that this is a topic of high emotional involvement, but we have two points that differ. 1. We also have high taxes in Germany. So it is no vaild point, because the taxes will be used for social welfare and the citizens can benefit. Especially, the upper class also profits, because they recive securtiy, education and medical health. 2. We don't agree with your argumentation, that rich will probably find creative ways to dodge from paying. There are hideouts for every law. So this is not a reason for not intruducing the inheritance tax. Your Point of view is too vague.

The main obstacle is less income for the public register, so there will be no further options to help those in need. another obstacle that the public might raise is that this solution will not help reduce inequality in the country. this is due to rich becoming richer by inhereting great amount of money in exchange for nothing while the poor stay poor.

In Israel, to differ from some other countries, taxes are very high and apply for many economical domains. this leads to the public feeling deprived and helpless. For wexample, the car industry is taxed in 150%, and the food industry is taxed in 17%. Therefore, in Israel the inheritance tax will cause more damage than use for the public. moreover, if the inheritance tax will be applied on the entire public, the rich will probably find creative ways to dodge from paying it, which will lead to a burden paid by the lower and middle class only. As a result, the tax cannot help to reduce the economical inequality. If the tax will only include the upper class, it might send them on a search for a better place to nurture their fortune.

at first, we all thought that inheritance tax should be applied only for the higher percentige of the people, so that the middle class will not suffer under the burden, but the state will still recieve an income for favore of the public. In addition, the inherited money comes with a sentimental value, and therefore taking a large portion of it can cause anguish and stress for those in grief and may count as immoral. after reading articles and interviewing various people about the subject, we now believe that here, in Israel, the tax should not be applied. In Israel, to differ from some other countries, taxes are very high and apply for many economical domains. this leads to the public feeling deprived and helpless. moreover, if the inheritance tax will be applied on the entire public, the rich will probably find creative ways to dodge from paying it, which will lead to a burden paid by the lower and middle class only. In conclusion, we believe that the best solution for Israel will not include the inheritance tax.
